Happy Birthday Kym!

My sister is 28! Her birthday is February 24th. Happy Birthday to you! You live in a zoo! You look like a monkey and you smell like one too!
Happy Birthday Kym! I hope it is a great one.

Korry and Albeth are in BIG trouble with me!

So my brother and his wife told everyone that they are moving to Arizona the other day. I am so sad! They are taking my nephews away from me! That is so mean! Who am I supposed to go shopping with? Who is going to give me free pedicures? Who is going to make me the yummy cookie desserts? Who is going to make me eggrolls? I am going to miss you guys! You better come and visit!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned 26 on February 11! It was a really fun day. My mom, sister, two neices and my husband and I all went to breafast at the original pancake house downtown it was really yummy! Alyssa got to stay home from school that day because she wanted to celebrate my birthday with me. After that my mom and I drug Mike with us to see a chick flick, his FAVORITE thing to do of all time! LOL We went to see He's just not that into you. I liked it, but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. That night we went to dinner with all of my aunts and uncle's and grandparents to MIMI's Cafe. I like their corn chowder. Mike bought me a new comforter set for our bed which I have been asking for for a while now. My parents got me some UGG'S slippers, I love them they are so comfy and they keep your feet at just the right temperature. For those of you that don't have any, Trust me when I say they are worth every penny! I got a new laptop computer for school and it is really handy! I can take all my notes on my laptop and just study them in powerpoint instead of writing out a bunch of flashcards. We filed our taxes and are getting a refund back which is awesome because we thought we were going to owe money this year.

Jeff Dunham Concert

We went to the Jeff Dunham concert on Thursday last week. It was Hillarious! I was laughing so hard I was crying! I didn't get any pictures there but I have some pictures of the puppets. We had seats on the floor. They were awesome! We could see everything up close and we didn't even need binoculars! I loved it! If he ever comes here again, I will definatly be going! If you want to see what I am talking about you can watch some of it on you tube. He also has two movies out. One is Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity, the other is Jeff Dunham: Arguing with myself and there is also Jeff Dumham's christmas special. I am telling you they are worth the laughs!

Cute and funny!

ok, I confess I have been stealing stuff! I stole this picture from my sisters blog! I couldn't resist I love it!

I also stole this poem from my cousin Wendy's blog but I laughed so hard when I read it because that is exactly what I feel like!

Twas the month after Christmas,
And all through the house,
Nothing would fit me,
Not even a blouse.
The cookies I'd nibbled,
The chocolate I'd taste
At the holiday parties
Had gone to my waist.
When I got on the scales
There arose such a number!
When I walked to the store
(less a walk than a lumber),
I'd remember the marvellous meals I'd prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared,
The wine and the rum balls,
the bread and the cheese
And the way I'd never said,
"No thank you, please."
As I dressed myself in my husband's old shirt
And prepared once again to do battle with dirt...
I said to myself,
as I only can,
"You can't spend a winter, disguised as a man!"
So, away with the last of the sour cream dip.
Get rid of the fruit cake, every cracker and chip.
Every last bit of food that I like must be banished
Till all the additional ounces have vanished.
I won't have a cookie, not even a lick.
I'll want only to chew on a long celery stick.
I won't have hot biscuits, or corn bread, or pie.
I'll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.
I'm hungry, I'm lonesome,
and life is a bore...
But isn't that what January is for?
Unable to giggle,
no longer a riot.
Happy New Year to all, and to all a good diet.

One Day at a Time

Hello!

School started last week and I am already drowning in homework. I got some of it done on saturday night at work. It was a slow night so I did math homework. YUCK! I think my teachers are pretty good this semester. I found a website called rate your professer and the other students leave their comments about the teachers on it. I thought it was very helpful.

We are going to see Jeff Dunham tomorrow night at the Energy Solutions Arena. I am so excited. For those of you who don't know, he is a comedian/ventriliquist. If you haven't seen his movies, you should. He is one of Mike's favorites. I will have to write more about that later.
